Mr. Obenhaus is a Vice President of TriGate.  He has a background in real estate private equity, investment banking and capital markets.

Prior to joining TriGate, Mr. Obenhaus was an Associate with Onex Real Estate Partners, the real estate arm of Onex Corporation. Experience included underwriting potential debt and equity investments and evaluating real estate entity investments. Prior to Onex, Mr. Obenhaus was an Associate with the leveraged finance group of Fieldstone Private Capital Group. At Fieldstone, Mr. Obenhaus specialized in equity and debt transactions for oil and gas service companies. Prior to Fieldstone, Mr. Obenhaus was a high yield and distressed credit analyst with SAMCO Capital Markets.

Mr. Obenhaus has a B.S. in Engineering from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He is also a CFA charterholder.  In addition, he is a member of the University of Texas Real Estate Finance and Investment Center Associate Council.
